Charging your SmartPhone, tablet, camera, or thousands of other devices is something we all do often, even daily. You need to find the end of the cable with the matching plug for the device to put it in, which can often be difficult as the cable usually has to be the right way round and is difficult to insert. There are three popular plug types in use: iPhone users have Lightning plugs (from 2012) whereas Android phones and tablets usually have the awkward micro-USB (flat on one side, rounded on the other) or the latest ones have the improved USB Type-C plugs (rounded on both sides and reversible).
